We are NYCA Shifters, a passionate group of young people from all across Nepal, representing both urban and rural communities and every direction—East, West, North, and South. United by a common goal, we are dedicated to tackling the biggest challenge of our generation: climate change.

We are the Kayapalat youth group, a dedicated team of 20 young climate campaigners hailing from Madhesh Province. We're laser-focused on shining a light on the perils of plastic consumption and production, and their devastating impact on our environment.

We are the Forestry Youth Network, a dedicated group rooted in and around the Bagmati Province. We're fiercely committed to advocating for climate justice and supporting the livelihoods of indigenous communities, particularly in the Chure region where unique ecosystems are under increasing threat.

We are the Eco Warriors, a fierce and proud group of LGBTQI+ climate activists who are part of the Blue Diamond Society. We embody the green color of the rainbow flag and are deeply committed to involving marginalized groups in climate solutions.

They say “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” We want to make this less a metaphor and more a literal reality in our region of Nepal. We are Pariwartak.
